Titanium bars are created for the experienced rider and should be treated as such. Our Apollo bar features the most popular design in the industry after the classic “T” bar. As this design is commonly used we knew it was the correct time to make them out of titanium. This bar feature update geometry from end to end to improve the feel and response of the bar when in use. Our crossbar has been made thicker than normal 1.6mm steel and titanium bars. We thickened ours to 2mm which may not sound like a lot but it is 25% thicker and only 2% heavier; a worthwhile trade-off. By creating a thicker bar it reduces flexibility and bending at the same time. Any rider in the world will struggle to even come close to bending these bars. By flattening the downtube from an earlier start point; we have managed to create an even and bigger weld space giving our bar even more strength and reinforcement to prevent bending. By creating an extra 20mm of welding space the crossbar has lesser free room. This is even more strength added to our bar with 0% added weight. The Apollo Spacecraft was revolutionary; We aimed to make our bars as equally. From our perspective, we succeeded.
